Digital

The digital domain provides a set of indicators that measures gender equality in access to the digital technologies. This domain consists of the following indicators:

(1) internet/mobile use of women and men (the percentage of women and men, which used a mobile phone or the internet to access an account);

(2) online purchase and bill payment (the percentage of women and men, which used the internet to pay bills or to buy something online in the past year);

(3) online payments (the percentage of women and men, which have made or received digital payments in the past year); and

(4) mobile phone/internet payments (the percentage of women and men, which have made payment using a mobile phone or the internet).

The score for digital domain is not included in the calculation of the index score.

1. Internet/Mobile Use (% age 15+)

2. Online Purchase and Bill payment (% age 15+)

3. Made or received digital payments in the past year (% age 15+)

4. Made payment using a mobile phone or the internet (% age 15+)
